This week I have learned about the definition of immigrants and digital natives, their characteristics, and all that these concepts involve. I think it is important to know these concepts, especially as future teachers where according to the conditions of our students we can find both immigrants and digital natives. We also reflect on the fact of the practices that are maintained in the institutions, where teachers although they have technological tools, do not make use of these, which can lead to stagnation in learning strategies.

The discussion spaces in class are nice because everyone shares their experience and their definitions of a specific topic. a nice tool to share these points of view is Voicethread, where the teacher puts a specific topic and students have the opportunity to share their opinions through text, audio, or video. this tool allows students to practice their English learning skills. although this application still needs some improvement, I consider it a useful tool.

As future teachers, it is necessary to be in touch with the digital world and to be able to search and find tools that are useful for our students, according to their needs and the skills they want to teach in class. this week we learned about a new tool that is useful for both students and teachers. this tool is called storybird, in this tool, teachers can create their books in a simple way and according to the topics they want to teach their students. on the other hand, it is also useful for students because they can create not only stories, but comics, and even any kind of text they want to make. it is a very wide application where mainly students develop skills like reading and writing.

This week we have discussed the importance of being able to share all the information that we have seen in class, and suddenly in another environment. This is the reason for the creation of this blog, to share the practices that we do as teachers and give a review of these, what has worked and what has not. Also, investigate another blog and hear from other teachers about their experience with these new strategies that they have implemented in their classes.

This week we have shared our lesson plans, we have contributed to the lesson plans of our colleagues and we have received suggestions to improve them. It is interesting and good to receive advice from other colleagues because it is the perspective of a colleague, and it is always done respectfully.

this week we have been working with a new tool called Voki. This week we have focused on working on the blogs, to present them and receive constructive criticism and suggestions to make them more dynamic.

In this class we have been able to share the blogs with our classmates and teacher. this is very interesting because it helps to give us ideas and to take into account the criticisms that others give in order to have a quality work in this blog.

This week we have been testing a new artificial intelligence, called D-ID, this is very useful because we can use a picture of any person and simulate that person speaking. You can modify the voice, the language and the accent. the only thing that I almost didn't like is that when he speaks, the mouth looks very strange, and there are very few free trial credits.

This week we have started showing our creation with D-ID, this is very funny, because people look very cool when they talk. I liked the topic we are working on, because it talks about the advantages and disadvantages that artificial intelligences can have in education.

This week we did a very interesting activity. the activity consists of asking chat gpt to write an essay on any topic, after reading it, ask him to make some modifications and finally, use another artificial intelligence to paraphrase the text and we also modify it, so that it has more coherence.

This week we have exposed the activities we did with gpt chat. We have realized that it is easy to detect when an artificial intelligence makes an essay, because it writes with uncommon terms and in a very mechanical way.

This week's activity consists of creating a classroom with genially. this application is very useful, since it helps us to make classes in an interactive way. the fun of it is that we make a dynamic class using these tools that the application offers.
